CHALET WITH OPEN GABLES VIEW

The concept of the house in countryside of “Křivoklát” is formed by a terrain platform with green roof and two wooden chalets, towering over meadows and old orchard. The wooden constructions with the admitted construction of the gabled roof have an open interior space and generous views with glazed gables.  In one of the “chalet” there is a private part of the house, e.i. bedroom with dressing room and bathroom, the second one is used for social part of the house such as living room with kitchen and dining room.

The house is built from a combination of monolith and wooden construction, which is also reflected in the interior.  The interior materials are clearly dominated by carefully selected wood, complemented by monochrome surfaces such as black ceramics, black cembrit, dark aluminum window frames and a grey squeegee.  Attention was paid to interior details, careful selection of materials and aesthetically simple solutions which are reflected in the purity of the whole house.

Lugi was one of the contractors who really helped me to finish the construction. They did a perfect job in the agreed timeframe and with no additional cost. Also, it is the team of great people.
